Les tournées de John McLaughlin and the 4th Dimension en Europe et aux Etats-Unis et un prochain disque à paraître au Printemps, les nouveaux disques de Jacky Terrasson (avril 2010) et de Dominic Miller (Février 2010), de Yaron Herman (Automne 2010).

De belles tournées annoncées au Printemps et cet Eté, avec notamment, le nouveau projet de Diane Tell « Dr Boris et Mr Vian » (direction musicale Laurent de Wilde), le duo Spirabassi et le fabuleux trio Mirabassi-Renzi-Parker (en tour en Mars-Avril) et le nouveau trio de Jacky Terrasson (Mars, Avril,Mai, Eté) sans oublier le duo Michel Portal - Lionel Loueke !

We wish you a happy 2010 ! Once again, we will have very nice projects on tour this year. John McLaughlin’s 4th Dimension on tour in Europe and in the US, and a new album to be released in Spring. New albums also for Jacky Terrasson (April- Concord Jazz), Dominic Miller (February) and Yaron Herman (Fall).

Very nice upcoming tours, Diane Tell "Dr Boris et Mr Vian" (musical direction Laurent de Wilde), Spirabassi duo and the Mirabassi Renzi Parker (March-April), Jacky Terrasson's new trio (March, April, May, Summer) without forgetting to mention the new duet Michel Portal and Lionel Loueke.

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer que John McLaughlin a reçu le prestigieux prix Haafiz Ali Khan le 24 Novembre dernier à Mumbai, en Inde, pour sa contribution au monde musical. "Je suis extrêmement touché de rejoindre la famille des musiciens illustres à avoir reçu ce prix auparavant" a déclaré John à l'issue de la cérémonie. M. S. Subbulakshmi, Ustad Bismillah Khan, Ustad Vilayat Khan, Anne Sophie Mutter, John Williams, Julian Bream, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi pour n'en citer que quelques uns avaient reçu les années précédentes cette remarquable distinction.

We are glad to announce “Five Peace Band – Live Chick Corea & John McLaughlin” got a Grammy Nomination as Best Jazz Instrumental Album of the Year.

"The 4th Dimension" (John McLaughlin, Etienne Mbappé, Gary Husband, Mark Mondésir) viennent d'enregistrer leur prochain disque, avec le nouveau bassiste du groupe Etienne Mbappé. L'album sortira au Printemps prochain en même temps que la tournée Européenne d'Avril-Mai sur le label Mediastarz. La liste des concerts est annoncée dans cette newsletter dans la rubrique Concerts. Le groupe visitera les plus grandes villes et festivals d'Europe.

Le band sera également en tour en Nov-Dec 2010, un tour proposé par notre partenaire américain Ted Kurland & Associates.


The 4th Dimension Band (John McLaughlin, Etienne Mbappé, Gary Husband, Mark Mondésir) were in studio at the end of November to record their new album, featuring the new bass player Etienne Mbappé. The album will be released for their European Tour in April-May 2010 (label Mediastarz). The list of concerts is announced in this newsletter in the Concerts Sections, we will attend the major cities and festivals in Europe.

The band will also tour in the US in Nov-Dec 2010, a tour booked by our US partner Ted Kurland & Associates.

Tenacious is probably the adjective that best describes Stéphane Spira’s nature. He’s one of the rare French jazzmen to have started his career as a musician late in life. Now 43, he’s releasing his second album. In order to write this new page – dedicated to his father who passed away in 2007 – he invited Giovanni Mirabassi, a pianist with a stellar journey. The great complicity between these longstanding friends generates a climate that’s conducive to the work at hand. In it, Stéphane Spira reveals his love for composition and song, and confirms that he’s an artist endowed with a rare personality, just like his partner.
